VISION

The goal of the institute is to contribute to the development of a highly skilled workforce for the nation by serving as a premier location for both theoretical and hands-on education and training.

MISSION

The institute is dedicated to producing a qualified and skilled labor force for the benefit of national development and to establishing itself as a center of academic excellence for students’ educational pursuits.

HISTORY
Nana Susubribi Krobea Asante, the Omanhene of the Asokore Traditional region, was the driving force behind the establishment of the Krobea Asante Technical Institute in the year 1999. He had the foresight to provide the young people of Asokore, who were envious, with the technical skills they needed and support them. The goal was to provide assistance to graduates of junior high schools who exhibit an aptitude for technical skills and want to be taught to earn a living.
Off of Ahensan Road, on the outskirts of Asokore, a piece of property was purchased with the assistance of the governments of Britain, the United States, and Germany. A classroom block with three separate units was constructed. The Institute now has two workshops, one each for carpentry and joinery, block laying and concrete work, and electrical installation. These workshops will assist the Institute’s students.
The Department of Carpentry and Joinery was the only other workshop that had any equipment; the rest of the workshops just had a few basic tools. In September of 2006, the Ghanaian government received the institution after it had been turned over to them by the Technical Vocational Directorate. To educate

• Revival – The last period in the first week is used for prayers and Bible studies for our students.
• Carlos Night – December is scheduled for Carlos Night where scriptures are read from the bible sing- songs of inspiration to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

SCHOOL FACILITIES
i. Academics
a) The school has six (6) classrooms and a workshop for the Carpentry and Joinery department.
b). No Laboratories but rely on some schools around us for practicals when the need arises
c). Library – we have converted one office for immediate use as the library with the support of the World Vision in supplying of books for the school.

Disturbances

On 22 January 2023, some students of the school vandalized the lighting system, dining hall, and food in the storeroom of the institution. They also destroyed school properties such as cars, bungalows, and notice boards of the school. The students accused the school authorities of being the reason their predecessors performed poorly in their examination results.The students also complained they were severely punished by teachers. The school was shut down indefinitely
