About Bolga Girls Senior High School

The School started as a Girls’ Middle Boarding in
1956. In 1965, it was transformed into a Women’s
Training College and in 1973, Bolgatanga Girls, Senior
High School was born.

VISION
To become the most enviable girls’ institution in
Ghana and a centre of educational excellence.

MISSION

To train young Ghanaian girls imbued with academic
and moral excellence to be productive, disciplined
and responsible citizens, so as to facilitate poverty
reduction and promote socio-economic growth and
national development.
