The late Dr. Agyeman Dicksion served as the school’s principal at the time. In the past, people also referred to it as the Azoka Secondary School. It was a secondary school that was founded by the Ghana Education Trust and was one of the schools that it founded.
On the main road that leads from Bawku to Bolgatanga, the school may be found in the western portion of town, approximately 5 km distant from the commercial and administrative heart of the community.
