VISION

In order for young people to be able to contribute to the nation’s political, cultural, and socioeconomic growth, there needs to be a centralised location that provides a comprehensive education and trains young people to be patriotic, autonomous, self-assured, and educated about local and international concerns.

MISSION

The school aims at delivering top-quality holistic education based on sound academic excellence and moral principles for the total development of its students, as well as producing fine ladies and gentlemen to propel the growth and development of mother Ghana.

BRIEF HISTORY
Mansoman Senior High School is the name of the institution in question.
The elders of the community established it as a private school in 1973 at Manso Atwere, which is located in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region. When it first opened its doors, the school functioned as a community school and was located in the Manso Atwere Community Centre. In 1976, it became part of the public system after being taken over by the Ghana Education Service.
After being located in the community centre and the premises of the current L/A Primary School for a combined total of 21 years of operation, it relocated to its current location in 1994.
The General Arts course and the Business programme were the two primary offerings when the school first opened its doors. In the latter part of the year 1990, general science was introduced.
The institution features a Science Resource Centre on campus. Both Manso Adubia Senior High School and Esaase Senior High Technical School are examples of satellite schools that make use of the centre.
The fact that the school has been chosen to serve as a model school for the Amansie West District is something that piques one’s curiosity. On the other hand, we have not yet seen what kind of Equipment it will have. The educational facility is both a day and a residential school for its students. The number of day students exceeds the number of residents in the boarding house.
In spite of the fact that it has been around for 37 years, the school does not have a Dining hall, Assembly Hall, appropriate Dormitories, Library, Staff Bungalow, etc.; yet, it does have a Science Resource Laboratory and an insufficient number of classrooms.
